Green Social encourages environmental networking

Sights

Budapest's seventh Green Social, set for 7pm on Wednesday, December 3, brings together an international group of environmentally minded business people, experts and activists for an informal gathering at the popular Kirakat bar in Budapest.

The evening is put together by GREENWILL, an initiative of the EuCham - European Chamber for CEE, here in Budapest, but a spinoff of the event has already taken place in Ljubljana.

The topic of this occasion will be Why GREENWILL? Why and what kind of actions have been beneficial for organizations and businesses who have joined this green-thinking organization? What GREENWILL has given to its members and society, and what actions will be taken in the future?

Since the holiday season is upon us, GREENWILL would also like to offer a possiblity to participate in a Christmas themed upcycling decorations' workshop with Barbara Földi from Recreativity (recreativity.net).

We welcome everyone to join: environmental organizations, private businesses, students, green enthusiasts, nonprofits or just individuals who are interested in the environment. The event is free of charge, however, food and beverages should be covered at the individual’s expense.

Venue: Kirakat, Kazinczy utca 3, Budapest, Hungary.

Participation is free of charge. The event will be held in English. Please kindly register at the following link or call +36 7 021 24552.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
