Gundel awaits guests once again

Food

Hungary's most famous and only Hungarikum restaurant has reopened with a new interior design, offering original Gundel recipes and legendary hospitality!

Today's Gundel is back to its original mission, which is "Gundel for everyone"! Gundel is both a café and a restaurant, where you can come for a coffee, a breakfast, a good chat or a business meeting from 9 a.m. whatever the time of day.

In addition, in the lounge, you will find the restaurant's menu at dinner time, with classic service, the famous Gundel offer, served on Zsolnay porcelain and silver cutlery, with a baronial table setting. The musical atmosphere is set by a female orchestra playing music on a real fiacre.

The backbone of Gundel's menu has been written 80 years ago and is the basis of the offer, the centerpiece of which is the National 11, the eleven iconic Gundel courses. Of course, there are many other unmissable dishes on this prestigious menu, the perfection of which is the responsibility of chefs Viktor Moldován and András Wolf.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
