Inclusion Brews at Café Run by Disabled People

Social

Nem Adom Fel Café and Restaurant (Never Give Up Café and Restaurant), founded some seven years ago, is the first café and restaurant in Budapest founded and run by people with disabilities, and it has enjoyed considerable success in helping to shape society's perception of people living with disabilities.

In the café, the vast majority of catering-related work is carried out by disabled or differently-abled people. They are involved in preparing a la carte meals, cakes, sandwiches, coffee, hot chocolate, teas, and homemade biscuits, as well as serving the full range of products in the café.

In addition, the café also offers catering for corporate events, weddings, and private functions. Taking into account the needs of guests, the café has also introduced food delivery as an option. In addition to Wolt and Foodora, orders can also be placed by contacting the café directly. In this case, the café's own staff will deliver the food.

Run by the Nem Adom Fel Social Cooperative, the café works closely with the Nem Adom Fel Foundation. Both the café's and the foundation's main goal is to help people with disabilities while also shaping society's perception of them, via showcasing how they are a valuable part of society, that their work can be valuable and important, with a little more patience and attention.

While the social cooperative cannot accept 1% PIT donations, the foundation can.
