Budapest to host Brain Bar festival
Budapest is scheduled to host the first Brain Bar Budapest festival on June 4-6, a global festival centered around the impact of technological innovation on users, the organizers said today in a press release.
Topics to be discussed at the festival include ethics, robotics, big data and urbanization with the help of speakers Ken Goldberg, Richard Florida, Sugata Mitra, Vladimír Šucha, Pia Mancini, Ádam Somlai-Fischer, Tina Saaby and Daniel Epstein. Apart from debates and discussions on the aforementioned topics, visitors can also enjoy visual arts and music programs.
The organizers will provide registration for free entry to 100 students and teachers, as sponsored by Hungary’s OTP Bank. Events will be held in the Design Terminal and Akvárium Klub. The festival’s chief sponsor is Magyar Telekom, the Hungarian subsidiary of German telco Deutsche Telekom.
