Number of liquidations started in Q2 up 12.7%

The number of liquidation procedures started against Hungarian companies in Q2 reached 4,524, compared to 3,840 twelve months before, fresh data from Creditreform shows.

The number of liquidation procedures brought against companies by creditors or suppliers increased more than 12.7% to 3,878 in Q2 from the same period a year earlier.

The number of bankruptcy procedures was 43 in Q2 compared to only 11 in Q2 2008.

Construction companies are still in the biggest risk of liquidation in Hungary. (MTI-ECONEWS)
