MNB

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) has published a progress report on action policymakers have taken on a set of recommendations the central bank issued to boost the country's competitiveness.

In the evaluation released on its website yesterday, the MNB put the overall weighted implementation rate of the 330 recommendations issued in 2019 at 46%.

The recommendations are being implemented "continuously, but at a slower pace" in the past year and a half, the central bank said.

The evaluation shows that 25 recommendations have been fully implemented, and 115 have been partially implemented.

The implementation of 123 has been started, but no action has been taken on 67 of the suggestions.
