Lithuania C/A Swings to Deficit in Oct

Lithuania posted a current account deficit of EUR 4.63 million in October 2022, switching from a EUR 161.72 million surplus in the corresponding month of the previous year as the goods account gap widened sharply to EUR 753.90 million from EUR 276.18 in the same period of 2021, reported the central bank.
On the other hand, the services surplus advanced to EUR 499.39 million from EUR 452.44 million.
Additionally, the primary income deficit of EUR 47.71 million turned into a surplus of EUR 198.13 million, while the secondary income also increased to EUR 51.75 million from EUR 33.17 million a year earlier.
