MKIK launches sustainability awareness program

The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) launched a program this week to raise awareness about sustainability among microbusinesses and SMEs, according to piacesprofit.hu.
MKIK is publishing a Sustainability Manual, in e-book form, as a first step.
Katalin Szili, the founder of the National Sustainable Development Council, said the "especially useful" resource presents Hungary's network of environmental institutions and outlines the relevant regulations that apply to companies.
MKIK is also offering businesses further instruction on sustainability through its mentoring program from May. Participation is free of charge after completing a one-time registration.
