Subletting Supply Rises to Meet Student Demand
The national sublet market went into full gear after the higher education admission point limits were announced last week, according to the latest analysis of ingatlan.com.
The demand for apartments for rent has been growing stronger since spring, and the supply has expanded significantly in recent weeks.
In the last few days, 300 new properties for rent have been added to the more than 12,000 supply.
"The lowest price sublets and rooms have always been popular, but we expect demand for them to be even stronger in the coming weeks," said László Balogh, the leading economic expert of ingatlan.com.
He added that "rooms and studio apartments offered at reasonable prices are expected to find tenants very quickly, so students should hurry."
