Slovakia Industrial Output Eases in January

Industrial production in Slovakia slowed 3.6% year-on-year in January from a 4.9% rise in the previous month, the Slovak Statistical Office (SÚSR said in a statement on Friday.
Output grew for both manufacturing (1.3%) and electricity, gas, steam & air-conditioning supply (24.9%).
Meanwhile, output declined for mining & quarrying (-36.9%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production decreased by 2.8% in January, according to data from the Bratislava-based agency.
