Renoir Exhibition Gets Extended Run

Museums

Budapest's Museum of Fine Art has extended its exhibition of works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, the French painter instrumental in developing the Impressionist style, by two weeks until Jan. 21, the museum said in a press release this week

The doors to the exhibition will open an hour earlier, at 9 a.m., at the weekend, and the exhibition can also be seen on Mondays when the museum is usually closed.

Around 70 works from more than 20 public collections (including those of the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, France) are on display at the exhibition entitled "Renoir: The Painter and His Models."
