Reliable Employer 2022-23 winners

Twenty-two German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK) member companies received “Reliable Employer 2022-23” titles for their exemplary care of their employees at the chamber’s annual meeting. Certificates were presented by András Sávos, president of DUIHK, and Minister of Technology and Industry László Palkovics.

Launched in 2017, the initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of good working conditions, encourage companies to create an employee-friendly environment, and at the same time strengthen the position of award-winning companies in the labor market for current and future employees.

“Recent years have posed significant labor market challenges for companies: fluctuation, retaining the workforce, training the workforce in an age of technological change, and maintaining mental balance after a pandemic. The constructive, practical answers to this have all appeared in the application materials,” said Sávos.

Members of the professional jury included Annamária Bagó, HR director at OBO Bettermann Hungary, Mária Borosné Huber, managing director of the German-Hungarian Knowledge Center, Zoltán Karácsony, a specialist journalist, Judit Simon, head of the Institute of Marketing and Media at the Corvinus University of Budapest, and Ágnes Vörös, HR director at BASF and jury spokesperson.
